On October 6, 2015, Steven Blackerby obtained a favorable decision for a Georgia municipality in an employment-discrimination. The plaintiff was a former employee who alleged that he was denied a promotion due to his race and that he was the victim of a hostile work environment. Based on those allegations, he asserted claims under Title VII and claims for violations of his constitutional rights.
