Attorneys – Amanda L. Szokoly

Amanda L. Szokoly is an associate with the firm. She focuses her practice on civil litigation including local government representation, insurance defense, business litigation, employment law, real estate matters, and civil rights litigation. She is also a registered general mediator.

Amanda graduated summa cum laude from Georgia Southern University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in History. She went on to graduate cum laude from the University of Georgia School of Law. During law school, Amanda was selected to participate in a week-long course on the federal common law taught by Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas. Amanda also participated in a number of civil clinics, including externships with the Athens-Clarke County Attorney’s Office and the Carl Vinson Institute of Government while in Athens.

Amanda serves as president of the Glynn County Young Lawyers Division. She is also a Southern District Representative to the Georgia YLD Representative Council, a graduate of the State YLD Leadership Academy, and an appointed member of the State Bar’s iCivics Committee.

Amanda is a lifelong resident of Glynn County. She lives in Brunswick with her husband, Daniel.
