On March 17, 2015, the United States District Court for the Southern District of Georgia granted summary judgment in favor of Paul Scott’s client, an industrial chain manufacturer, on all claims asserted against it. In this products-liability lawsuit, the chain manufacturer was alleged to have manufactured chains that were defective, thereby forcing a plant to shut down several times, resulting in over $1.9 million in damages.
